How effective is a ceaseran section in reducing the probability of mother to child HIV infection during birth? |
The mother is already undergoing ARV treatment. It may help to prevent, but the biggest risk for the child is being in the womb. The placenta, which transfers nutients and waste to and from the baby and mother. I wish them both all the best of luck. I pray that everything works out for both mother and child. A lot more than a vaginal I am told. I dont see how it has any effect, when the child is the womb its collecting everything from your body.. |
