Why the fight against Hiv/Aids is still problem to the world?

When this problem came to the knowledge of the world there were lot of pledges, donations and volunteers services.Other claimed that they had discovered the medicines, while others started the treatments on some patients.Up to present we still have this deadly diease affecting and killimg us.

People are occupied with something else other than HIV/AIDS. We have nuclear threats from Iran and North Korea, Al Gore is so passionate about global warming that I sometimes wonder whether I should relocate to Tibet. Pardon my feeble excuses, HIV/AIDS are still problem because we haven't figured out equitable ways to share the resources in global scale. Well, it has little to do with technology or money. We haven't solve any significant global problem simply because we are selfish, greedy human race.

Because people who are drug addicted, don't care about sharing needles to get their fix. A lot of people go out and have one night stands and don't want to use protection, despite knowing the possible consequences. And why was there a report that Magic Johnson doesn't even test positive for it anymore? Did he ever even have HIV?
