SHOULD OTHER COUNTRIES HELP AFRICA with the HIV/AIDS TREAMENTS? |
Most people are not treated for HIV-AIDS because they cannot afford expensive drug therapy. Should other countries and/or pharmaceutical companies make an effort to provide low-cost drug treatments in sub-Saharan Africa? This is more of an ethical question. We need help in our own country to help with rising costs of illnesses including AIDS. So, my answer is no. Other countries already can and do help African nations with HIV/AIDS treatments. If it is a dollar or 2 a day to treat the people over there, it should be the same all over. The drug companies are price gouging AGAIN. |
