yea, but you need to get the treatment started, because if you wait, the hep c will wreck you hard, leaving you immuno-compromised and then something simple like a cold will sadly kill you if you are hiv pos

Yes you can receive medication for hepatitis c if you are HIV positive that is a known fact. But if your having doubts call your doctor or local help-line nurse. Peace Brownies

My adult son has HIV. When he was at work, at a clinic, a patient sort of shoved a bag into his hand. The bag turned out to be full of dirty needles! The person with the needles, had Hep C !A, the worst type. The clinic, immediately, took my son over to the E.R. at the hospital, and he was given about $1000 worth of shots, etc.. He is still having lab tests, as the Hep C has not shown up, yet, on the labs.
This makes me say that you can be treated for Hep C when you have HIV. Good luck.
