Outcomes and treatment for infants born to HIV infected mothers?

not all hiv positive mothers transmit the virus and if they do the infant is given zidovudine for 6 monthes

I'm sure there are medications that help... But I had a dream once that infants born to HIV infected moms could be helped with breast milk from non-infected moms.

Perhaps those who have given birth but lost the babies would do this...
