What is the best treatment for curing HIV.?

Disease caused by HIV virus

Dealing with HIV might be more accurate, as there is no cure, YET. It is important to become very conscious of what is eaten every day. Is it nurtritious or does it just fill the stomache for now? Lots of fruits, nuts, protein, juices, water, water, water are needed every day. That's not as hard as it sounds. Take last night, this is what I prepared: skinned, deboned, no fat chicken put into pan. Water into pan (instead of oils). Pineapple and honey were spread onto the chicken, and baked until done. Rice cooked and served with this. Juices from the pineapple and honey, baked with the chicken, put onto the rice. Applesauce on the side, with fresh green salad.....cheeses chunked and put into green salad.
The entire family was satisfied with the dinner, and the HIV positive member had a nutrious meal, as we all did. Eating nutritious meals, eating with the family (that's a biggee!).....and feeling cared for and loved is how I treat HIV family member.
Being interested, being concerned, but not overwhelmed, is how I try to present my self to HIV + family member. I believe the mental and emotional stress of the patient must be kept as minimal as humanly possible. Stress just allows other problems to try to take over. A loving environment that allows for warmth (when needed), fresh breeze (when needed), sanitary bedding, daily, bathrooms that are clorox cleaned after usage........and nutritious food.
I do stress nutrition a lot, because I believe that good nutrition does seemingly miraculous things for most every sickness I have ever worked through.
I believe in love, comfort, and nutrition is the best we can do. The side meds are to take care of the oportunistic diseases and conditions that DO come to attack.
I am really lucky to live in CA, where people are not waiting on a list to GET any help for HIV.

you can't cure hiv. it can only be treated. see a doctor. it depends on the strain and your individual circumstances.

HIV cannot be cured, it can only be controlled, a combination of 2 of 3 or 4 groups of durgs which are used.

Hiv is UNCURABLE

Treating HIV

Treating the HIV infection is a big step. Plan ahead. It is the best way for you to manage HIV over time. Talk with your healthcare provider about when to start treatment and what medicines to take first. Think carefully before you start treatment.

When you decide to start treatment, you鈥檒l need a plan to help you control the infection for years to come. Talk with your healthcare provider. Ask about the long-term effects that the medicines you take today could have on your future health. He or she will need to take a look at your overall health needs in order to help you choose an HIV treatment.

Factors to consider

In helping you choose an HIV treatment, your provider will look at your:

CD4 cell count: HIV attacks these cells and uses them to make more copies of the virus. When this happens, the CD4 cell can鈥檛 help the body fight infection as well. A normal CD4 count is between 500 and 1,600 cells/mm3.
Past and current health
How ready you are to treat your HIV infection and follow treatment instructions
Emotional health
Safety is a big factor when you choose an HIV treatment. VIRACEPT has been used for more than ten years to treat HIV patients. It is the most widely used drug of its kind among pregnant women. It has a safety profile which makes it good for long-term care. It also has a low risk of causing liver problems.

Also think about your viral load. It may be your goal to lower your viral load. But it shouldn鈥檛 be your only goal. For most, VIRACEPT can drive the viral load to levels that can鈥檛 be detected and raise the number of CD4 cells. This can help your body fight HIV.

HIV has been cured in exactly one person ever. You do not cure HIV, you can only control its advance.

There are a very few people who seem to have thrown off infection and they are helping scientists to try to figure out why they didn't get Aids when everyone around them did (and they no longer test positive for HIV). That may actually lead to a cure or at least a vaccine.

There is no cure for HIV unfortunally. There is however treatment that can help with the Tcell count.

there is no cure there is treatment.

Treat the individual diseases if they ever occur. Contrary to popular belief, HIV is not necessary to explain acquired immune deficiency and the illnesses associated with AIDS. To understand why this is so, it is first necessary to understand what AIDS is. AIDS is not a new disease or illness; it is a new name or designation for 30 previously known and unrelated diseases.
