Why have scientists been unable to develop an effective vaccine for HIV? It is and autoimmune disorder, its almost like trying to cure autism. Because it mutates at an incredible rate. As soon as something is found that affects it, it mutates and the vaccine is no longer any good. Perhaps it needs massive funds for intensive research and I think rather than wasting money on war in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc, if the US spent those billions on this research, they would bring true peace to this world. because they are not affected by HIV...... |
