What is the expectation about when there will be an HIV vaccine?

Do anybody know what is the current stage in the research for an HIV-vaccine ?

Is it true that some pharmaceutical companies are trying to slow down this research, because they can earn much more if the HIV-patients are depending there whole life on medication?

Can you suggest some usefull websites with more information about this subject?

I doubt very highly that anyone is trying to prolong the search for a cure. Following that train of thought, the pharmaceutical companies would make just as much money, if not more, off the cure as they would for the ARV drugs.

I think a cure was expected about 20 years ago. So, any day now...
