Why can we just have a change of blood like for cancer to remove HIV virus? Changing blood is hard enough. You can't be sure that the blood you're receiving is similar enough to your own. Because if the received blood cells' antigens are not similar enough, it will trigger your immune cells to attack it. Then you won't have any blood cells. Yadayada. You also can't be sure where the virus has spread. It may not only be in your blood stream. to do that you would have to remove ALL the blood from your body..than add new blood....if that happend you would die Changing blood doesn't work for cancer either. the disease is in the bone marrow and cellular structure, not only the blood, and you cant completely change a persons blood. Its much more complex than that. |
