What are some differances between the viruses that cause colds and the flu and HIV???!!!? |
I really need this answer please answer if you can!!! look it up in your school book. but colds and the flu are body invaders that cause the immune system to act and the immune system usually fights them off. well HIV shuts down the immune system. Rhinoviruses (cold) and Influenza are RNA viruses. HIV is a retrovirus that have an RNA genome that replicates via DNA. Probably transmission. Colds and flu are transmitted by air ie. someone coughing/sneezing on you. You can also pick them up from touching infected surfaces. They say that HIV is transmitted via unprotected intercourse, blood transfusions etc.... |
