HIV/AIDS Question...

How long does it takes for someone who's been positive for him to live?
can he or she may live up to 30 yrs after acquiring the virus?
what is the longest span of life after contracting the HIV? can someone here knows?
anybody here who had it for 30 yrs?
please answer my question...i just want to know the stats so i cal live to the fullest if I'm positive.

I'm coming up to 5 years of being HIV+ and my health is just as good as everyone elses.

I do take meds (x2) once a day but what's 2 tablets a day when it comes to your health?

I know of some people that have lived ever since HIV was known about and they are still healthy. It's really a matter of your lifestyle - you have to look after yourself and think positive.

WOW!! I really hope your not too. Life span depends on the individual. If you take treatment,live healthy, eat right and only have HIV, people aren't dying anymore. If you have full blown AIDS and no treatment, life will be much shorter. Even people with full AIDS are living longer now when living healthy. Good advice. positive or not, invest in condoms. It wont stop disease but it may save your life.

with treatment today most people can have a normall life span...just imagine how far we can go in another 20 years. i mean 10 years ago we couldnt even treat it. HIV is no longer a death sentance relax.

I know somebody who was tested since 1981 and he is still alive and look healty
