Mosquitos HIV or AIDS?

is it true if the mosquito takes our blood can it carry hiv or aids ......because to take the blood they need to use the needles they have so if they use the same one then go to take someone else blood can you get Hiv or aids like that .

i know this is a dumb question but they do carry the west nile virus

ionly thought cause since the virus runs through the blood it could happen since they take blood they can transfer it

Nope, there have been no cases of HIV being transmitted through any blood-sucking insect. This is because mosquitoes don't inject blood from previous bites into the new victim; they instead inject saliva, which can transmit West Nile and malaria. Some people might argue that there could be blood left over from a previous bite on the mosquito's mouth parts, but mosquitoes retain very little blood on their mouth and HIV patients don't always circulate high amounts of the virus in their blood, meaning that a blood-sucker probably won't even suck up the virus. Also, mosquitoes don't usually travel from one person to next; they often will go to a resting place and digest the blood before going out for another meal. Lastly, even if the virus somehow did get into the mosquito, and was on its mouth parts, it (the virus) would die pretty soon because it can't reproduce in insects.

the only dumb question is the one you don't ask.they also carry some very deadly malaria strains, the NGS claims 50% of all human deaths since the beginning of time can be related to malaria.the answer to your question is they don't know for sure..they never thought that lyme desease would be a larger problem than aids..but it is!!more than 50% of our blood surplus is tainted with some form of bacterial desease.the cdc,fda etc say thats not bad.well what is 100%?

There is a possibility but it is extremely small and chances are it will not happen. The virus usually dies when it is outside of the human body.

No mosquitos cant not transfer aids to u. nor can u get it through a toliet seat, just incase u were wondering.

Aids is after HIV..You cant have aids without hiv.. and no they cant give you hiv who told u that? :)
