Do African Americans seriously believe that the HIV virus was created by the gov to kill them off?

I heard this theory is very prevalent in the Black community. Is that true?

Being politically incorrect such as yourself, I would like to say YES to a degree.

I know Biology and read a lot of books on this matter, and the whole issue is just made up if you ask me.
This virus didn't originate from where they've told us.
But hey. thats just my suspicion nothing to do with what all Black Americans think.

There are millions of suspicions people have about the issue, its never going to go away.
Some even think that when the virus was formulated the cure was right next to it.

I don't think that it was created to kill off black people but, as one person already stated, there is some evidence that it is a man-made disease that was intended for biological warfare. If you think about the way that it was supposed to have infected the first humans, it doesn't make much sense. If that was the case, it would not have started in the cities but in the countryside and we would have seen it long before the 70's. If it was to be a weapon, they would need to test it on someone and it just got out of hand. People move around the world now and it's hard to keep things contained. The virus also reinvents itself and adapts far too quickly to keep a lid on it.

I don't think so, but there has been a long history of medical experimentation done on african americans.

Tuskegee experiment in which 400 black men in Alabama were not treated for syphilis, so researchers could study the effects of the disease.

In the 1950s the Army and CIA exposed African Americans in Florida to mosquitoes carrying yellow fever.

Black Pennsylvanians were the subjects of painful dermatology experiments conducted by a University of Pennsylvania dermatologist.

Lol no man it was not created to kill off black people but there is proof that shows that it was engineered most likely as a biological weapon....during the time of its creation we still engaged in trench warfare very unsanitary condition if you are able to destroy a groups immune system they would not be able to survive..and thats what AIDS does......


The old naval testing facilities for this were located in africa but thats just because they were able to use humans as test subjects without the eyes of the world watching

i thought this before i even heard this theory. they are trying to kill of africans. that virus was created in a lab it has no strands to link it to any thing it has no origin this is the only explanation.

they try to say it came from eating monkey brain in africa bull shiit. monkey brain is prob safer to eat than any animal raised in america.

Look up The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment. Back in the 70s the us government was infecting black men with syphilis to see how long a human can live with it... They did this for many years & doctors was in on it... You cant blame them for being paranoid

well what about for gay people too. i do believe that they're not telling us the truth and even if the virus was to kill of certain people not just africans, i wouldn't be surprised.

I am an African American and have never heard that. It is possible, but I do not yet have enough information to suspect such a thing.

No its more realistic that the very racist South African government at the time did but I really doubt it as they know all humans the same it would spread into the white population too
