Obama's Reverend....what do you think? |
I agree, somewhat that it is water under the bridge. I just got onto answers recently so I didn't get a chance to ask this before the election. But you have to wonder if they still keep in touch. If so that is a scary thing to have in the white house. Yeah.....and to think that America is proud that they elected one of his faithful followers to be the next president. And they dare call Republicans racist....... God Damn America for killing innocent people -- all through the bloody history of America, we have killed innocent people. Native American villages were raided when the braves were out hunting and women and children were murdered. In Vietnam, we carpet bombed cities and killed millions of innocent people - most of them old men, women, and children -- because the young men were engaged in battle. In Iraq we have killed tens of thousands of women and children. Last week in Afghanistan we killed 33 civilians, most of whom were children. Put things in perspective. Obviously Obama's thinking is very different than this guy's. People choose churches for a lot of reasons, and except for many fundamentalists and Unitarians, politics is usually not high on their list. At the time this issue first came up, most Americans did not know Obama. We can now judge him on his own merits. Most people put this one to bed long ago! I don't think I can fully appreciate Rev. Wright's approach without being a member of the inner-city congregation. I'm sure he approaches things from a different angle than most pastors. So it's easy to jump to conclusions; I'd like to see more indepth coverage of the entire church someday. I can't believe people are still bringing him up. Agree with what Obama said about those statements. I agree with ya, but hey, that's pretty much water under the bridge now He is a waste of my time and attention.. He's our Reverend now, get use to Wright |
