HIV/Unprotected sex question.?

giving the senario can somone please tell me a factual answer.

a male, in Singapore, circumcised, 17 yearsof age has unproteced sex with a female say HIV+

what are the chances of catching it?

giving to the face it's.. male to female.
and he was only having unprotexed sex for 4 minutes ( i realize that it is just change of liquids that can do it to time doesn't matter, but i'm just letting you know)

circumcised
and cummed on his own chest, not inside the girl.

is it always 100% of catching this virus. What are the staticstics, and what do you think. Don't tell me doctor either i want own answers please thanks.

Unlikely just from the one encounter lasting a few minutes, but it's possible. Circumcised won't make a difference, nor will where you ejaculated. Go and get tested in time.

HIV is not transmitted 100% of the time. It is most common for males to transmit HIV to females or to other males during unprotected sex, but it CAN be transmitted from females to males.
All of that said, whether the risk is high or low doesn't really matter. Risk exists.

The only way to find out if you are infected is to get tested. More than 98% of people who are infected would test positive within 3 months, but in rare cases it could take up to 6 months for someone to test positive.

Once someone is infected, they can transmit the virus to others, even if they have no symptoms and don't test positive yet.

Most people here do not know what they are talking about.

The chances of contracting HIV from the SINGLE episode of unprotected vaginal sex that you described is estimated around 1 in 1000. This is true IF your partner is infected (and you do not know for sure if she is).

The chance is very low but not zero. You had unprotected sex and you were at risk. But the risk is very slim (again, I am talking about this single episode).

So go get tested around 6-8 weeks after exposure and then confirm it with a 3 months conclusive test. It is very unlikely you contracted HIV from this scenario but you need to get tested

Whether he ejaculated in her or not, it is she that is HIV positive, correct? So it is her bodily fluids that would carry the virus. You ask us not to say see a doctor but, well, too bad; that is exactly what the next step should be. "He" should be completely up front with his physician so that an accurate determination can be made. ANY time ANYone has unprotected sex, they're taking a risk. So the chances are decent. ALWAYS. USE. PROTECTION.

There's no real answer. It is harder to get HIV if you're a man, but any sexual contact will give you a chance of catching HIV. I'm sure with the short time, his chances are less than if he went longer. Honestly, no definite answer here. Wild guess-50%-50%

1) this "fictional" person is seriously SERIOUSLY stupid. 2)the chances are low, but still more than enough, males tend to give HIV, rather than get it

what are the chances of catching it? - pretty good

it doesnt matter where u *** it f'in her u probaly got it .....dats sucks
