u cant catch it from touching something someone else has touched can u? You can't catch HIV through any means other than sharing bodily fluids, i.e. sex or contamination through blood by open wound or infusion. Once outside the body, exposed to air, HIV only lives for a few minutes at MOST. You can't get HIV from touching something someone else has touched. It is not spread by saliva or by casual contact. HIV lives for a long time outside the body, the person saying a few minutes at most is spreading misinformation. However its still unlikely to contract HIV in this manner due to the fact that someones blood or other bodily fluid would have to come in contact with a open sore. 12 hrs.. you can catch hiv, if you come in contact with body fluids of theirs, if you have a cut on you.. just becareful... |
