Why is homosexuality wrong?

Without using The Bible or crediting AIDS or HIV (remember heterosexuals also contract the virus), can you tell me why it is wrong? Please don't tell me that they can't reproduce because they can if they wanted to and there are heterosexual couple who battle with infertility and almost no one tells them that their relationship is immoral.

In religion it is wrong, but there should be separation between religion and state so homosexuality isn't wrong.

EDIT: Why would anyone tell a heterosexual couple they're immoral? I don't believe that you can compare an physical impossibility with a reproductive problem.

You want answers "without using the Bible"? God has the right to tell us what is wrong.

Sperm from two different men cannot create a child. You must have a sperm and an ovary. Two ovaries cannot make a child. Two men cannot have a baby of their own. Two women cannot have a baby of their own. Hence, God created humans to be in a male-female relationship. Anything other than that is perverted and twisted. This world we live in should take heed of what God did to Sodom and Gomorrah.

I try to live a pure life.
The ambitions of others, I have no control over, but I cannot say that this is right. I simply will not do it. Not in my thoughts, nor my words, nor any actions. However, in attaining a pure life, one puts aside all selfish things. I do not allow myself the pleasure of condemning anyone, or I must allow it for others to condemn me. The needs of others come before mine.

If the selfish desires become all-consuming, then the needs of others are no longer a priority. My own desires will be my downfall if my brother is starving, or cannot find clothes. I could never live with myself.

That's as close as I can get to obediently answering your question and at the same time, attempting to nourish an ideal that the world could use. We are all very self-involved. And I'm including myself in that assessment.

If the Bible said it was OK to be a homosexual, and God who created man said, let man and man go out and repopulate the world, Then people who want to practice being homosexual wouldn't have an objection to quoting the Bible or listening to what God instructs everyone to do.

Unfortunately for homosexuals and fortunately for heterosexuals we live in a world where at present time the majority of humanity believes it is an unnatural act for two men or two women to have an intimate sexual relationship.

We don't know for sure what the future holds, but perhaps for now we can simply do what God tells us to do...

Don't judge, don't condemn., love others better than yourself and love your enemies. Love your enemies that is my favorite one because the Holy Spirit told me that this means we should be in prayer for all of the saints that they will open their hearts and accept God's will and stop listening to Satan's lies.

It isn't. It is perfectly natural, as science continues to prove. We now know that people are in fact "born gay" due to genetic or hormonal factors in the womb (any gay person will tell you they have known they are gay since they first became sexually aware in childhood). Science has documented homosexual behavior in dozens of animal species. So if you are religious, it looks like God did create Adam and Steve after all!

The Bible is the only source that condemns it, take that away and it's simply a common natural phenomena that occurs in hundreds of species other than man throughout the world. That's why it stopped being considered a Mental Illness in 1975.

I think if you strip away all these flimsy arguments you have what is at the heart of antigay forces: it makes them feel queasy and have to go outside of their comfort zones.

without believing in christ, i would say really nothing wrong with it. the bible says its wrong so i have to trust god for his reasoning behind it.

After doing research, studies show that HIV has highest rates among gay males. Last time I checked anal tearing was an issue with anal-sex. Incontinence and feces dripping were also problems. Boys kissing boys are no biggie, but anal sex is unnatural.

Because it is sick. Penis for a vagina,two becoming one is a beautiful thing. Not a man putting his penis in another mans ***. This is sick!
