There is probably not a definitive answer for this. However, the virus is very fragile on its own lasting only minutes outside the body.

Suppose the heat is lower than the 37.0 human body temp. This would only be one factor in the life of the virus.

Then there is the potential for the virus to be encased in a droplet of body fluid or matter. It (and this is only theoretical) could even have infected a bacteria and be preserved when the bacteria goes into the encystment on exposure to the water. However, this is not likely.

So the time in minutes or seconds is really relative to the end result and how ever it could potentially be transported.

Next, even if it survived all of this, it has to find a portal of entry. Well, it not only has to find it, it has to get in.

Then, once in, it has to serovert. In other words, it has to infect you.Your body may not allow this.

This is a complicated process. Actually, depending on factors that are virtually unknowable, you may have a higher threshold to get past to become infected than someone else.

One of the measurements for how far along the disease has progressed is the GSH level or glutathione level. So if your GSH is very high to begin with, the chances of infection are slim to none.

In McGill University Hospital, they actually treated AIDS patients and although not treating directly for the disease, the disease was not to be found in the patients 10 years later. This was before the connection was known.

So the bottom line, although highly improbable, nothing is 100% certain.

The HIV virus cannot live outside the body for very long at all.
There is no way you can catch it unless blood to blood contact is made.
In fact HIV is extremely difficult to contract.
So even if the jacuzzi didn't have any chlorine at all, you still couldn't contract it.

I'd need to know the temperature of the water before I could calculate this accurately.
Obviously if you have any lesions- especially of the delicate anal tissue - whilst in a sauna, your risk of infection is greatly increased.
