Does vodka kill the HIV virus?

if HIV/AIDS positive blood was put in a glass of vodka and drank, is the consumption safe?

If you are talking about saliva contact, then no. You can not get HIV/Aids from drinking someone else's vodka or any drink.

HIV/AIDS has to be blood to blood contact. You would have to have an open sore or cut in your mouth for that even to be possible.

On surfaces, HIV and AIDS are easily killed by simple cleaners. Tuberculosis is not.

In fact, if you really need to be worried, hepatitis is more of a concern of transmission than HIV and AIDS when it comes to sharing drinks or utensils.

I have no idea where the heck you heard this but discard it from you memory NOW!!! There are very few things that can kill the HIV?AIDS virus. and even then it is not something you should fool around with. HIV virus is very fragile. Even exposure to air can kill it. Alcohol would definitely kill it.

I wouldn't try it, but alcohol kills a lot of living cells that it comes in contact with. Thats why we use it to clean wounds and disinfect things. I guess its possible.
