Dirty colonoscopy equipment lawsuit?? Any updates?

Most of you have probably heard of this uprise before. But as it turns out another recent case has poped up. And MAN is it a huge lawsuit! the same removal tube was used on fifty two patients without cleaning it (steral) between patients. And now more than half have turned up with HIV and three other life threatening, life long diseases. And just about everyone is suing the hospital.
Does anyone have any further information or updates?
And does anyone feel safe going and getting colonsopies now?
When the time comes that I need one I'm going to hunt till my last breath for a place that I am positive is clean. I can't imagine coming out of a simple procedure like that and getting the HIV virus.

Probably one of the socialized medicine countries. The other choice is that the story is false. Find the referenced case, not rumor.

My doctor uses an autoclave to clean her instruments.
