Is it true that you can not get HIV from some if they do not have it?

im just wonder cuz some1 said that you can still get hiv from someone even if they do not have HIV im just wondering if thats true or not because they said if you have sex without a condom you could get it.
and for some one to get hiv the other person has to have the virus right ? and for some1 to get it to they have to come in contact with that person blood?

The HIV virus is NOT spontaneously created out of no where. So it is NOT like cancer, for example. You can only catch it from someone who already has it.

If someone has HIV, then you need to avoid contact with several of their bodily fluids - not only blood, but also semen.

At one time, scientists and medical persons were saying that HIV can remain dormant/undetected for like 9 years. This may be what they were talking about. However, I don't know how true this is. Just when you go get tested, ask the doc.

Obviously you can not get an STD from someone who doesn't have it. They have to be infected with the virus to pass it on to others.
