Can someone work in hospital operating room with HIV virus? |
Can someone work in hospital operating room with HIV virus? All the people who said no are all very wrong! It is illegal to discriminate against a person that has HIV;furthermore, there are people who have Acquired Immune Deficiency who do work in the operating room, and throughout the hospitals. They use "Universal Precautions" like every other employee that works in a hospital. They are not putting people at risk any more than patients that come into the hospital to have surgery done. No, they don't have to tell anyone, it's confidential. It's actually easier to catch Hepatitis than AIDS. Report It not in operating room no, because if u get cut you could give it to some one elese no Nope, thank God. It's a very dangerous idea. The thought of it doesn't sound very consoling, however if the worker is wearing a mask and gloves and not even the chance to breath on the patient perhaps it "might" be safe. There was a case where a dentist gave HIV to his patients. Why and how he did this is very unclear. Because of this I think your question is a very good one in that should this kind of risk be allowed. I wouldn't feel comfortable about it personally so I would say "NO". Yes they take the same standard precautions as everyone else. no ,it cant be done |
