Do 2 people need to have full out sex to spread the HIV virus? |
This is a stupid question -- I was just wondering, do two people need to have actual full out sex to spread the virus or one second is all it takes? any bodily fluids can pass it if a person has an open cut or wound....even a microscopic one someone dosent even know they have can spread it.. no she needs to actually come in contact with bodily fluids like precum or semen, and vice versa for men. they have to come in contact with vaginal fluid any exchange of bodily fluids can spread HIV No, Any direct contact with fluids can transmit the virus. It's possible... any contact with fluids can spread. Exchange of bodily fluid is risk that includes precum. It may have been dry going in but doesn't mean it still was coming out. HIV can also be passed on by oral sex.. The bodily fluids carry the virus....if no fluids are exchanged then you probably wont get the virus...but you always want to be safe, but remember that condoms are not 100% safe...and oral sex can spread the virus as well... No they do not. If the man had some kind of semen or even pre-*** on his penis then yes she could have contracted HIV from him. As long as fluids mix there is the risk of contraction. Even a seemingly "dry" penis can have some kind of semen on it. So no it doesn't take full out actual sex, it only takes one second of mingling fluids. It can also be contracted through oral sex also. first of all, i got to say, you're a horny teen, right? Who knows? There is probably a chance of transmitting the virus. First of all, he has to have the virus, and if he knows it, what the hell is he doing having any sex without a condom? No, there are many different fluids you can get HIV from including blood, vaginal fluids, and sperm, but the virus is more substantial in blood than any other fluid. What this means is you can get the virus through an open wound (the infected person has a cut and so do you). But to be entirely honest the chances of one getting HIV is slim. Let's say a man has sex with a woman who has HIV. His chances to get the virus are 1 in 10,000 if he practices safe sex and she is not menstruating. But in no way am I saying hey go have sex and don't worry. 1 in 10,000 is still a pretty serious thing; so practice safe sex. It is true that HIV is spread in body fluid but any contact of the genitals has potential because there are mucous membranes all over (his and hers) He may not have ejaculated but most times there is some pre-ejaculate fluid present with erection and even if it is not visible, the compression of insertion and withdrawal can mobilize it. Well, first off, in your example, they had sex (penetration, no matter how brief or, ahem, unsatisfying is still penetration). Sorry if I'm shattering any illusions of virginity. Remember, any bodily fluid contains the virus for HIV so- we are talking saliva, semen, etc. The only true way to not get any STD is to not have sex. No fun there- but you can only protect yourself as much as you can. In a perfect world, it would be nice if people were honest. At least than you would know what your up against. Well if he was HIV+ and leaked pre-*** there is a chance of infection. The only safe way for any type of penetrative intercourse is condoms. as long as they have direct contact then its a risk |
