Can the human immune system kill a single HIV virus? |
When I've learned about the Human Immunodeficiency Virus over the years, I'm told that once acquired, there's nothing the body can do about it, and it's just a manner of time before it shuts down the body's immune system. I guess it depends on the immune system. If it is comprimised then maybe a single HIV can multiply. I think that a healthy person COULD POSSIBLY overcome one single virus, but I don't know. I think you're right about them going in by the thousands or millions thus overcoming the healthy immune system. |
