If an hiv infected blood is collected in blood bag what happens to the hiv virus will it die? |
if the blood is collected from the hiv person during transormation of blood what happens to the hiv virus present in it .Because ones if the virus comes out of the body it dies with in few seconds but while collecting it by using blood bag the bag contains required preservatives and coyagulent to preserve the blood so how long it survies under that condition in normal room temperature .Whether the preservatives present and other chemicals added during blood collection NO it is infectious and MANY MANY innocent people have been infected with aids from blood transfusions. Today there is a test for hiv infected blood but it is still infectioous in blood, even processed blood and components. no it will stay alive cause it is in dormant state while in the cooler for storage ppl get it from the transfusions they recieve at different places "hospitals" and other places like the such...... It does not die. This is why blood banks need to test blood for HIV. Somebody mentioned something interesting about how none of these AIDS advocates will get into a "mosquito booth after an HIV + person was in there." It is interesting that nobody wants to talk about insect vectors with this disease. I was in Botswana not too long ago and they are the most decent, and civil people I have ever met. The HIV rate in that country is the highest in the world at 40%!!! I can only conclude that sex is not the only way you can get HIV. How else can you explain this high infection rate in Botswana? As far as I could tell; they didn't have orgies every night. In fact, they seemed like very conservative people; sexually speaking. |
