HIV/AIDS Life Survive how long ?

If someone is infected by AIDS how long he/she will live after having it ? without medication ? (Assignment)

Without medication, your "HIV" will NEVER progress to AIDS, HIV is not an immune suppressing virus, in fact it is harmless, it IS the medication that leads to AIDS. This has been the greatest deception to strike the world, there are reasons for it but thats something you'll have to figure out on your own, it is too complex and long to explain here. Do not take your meds and stop worrying, you will be fine if you do not take anything, BUT if you take the drugs, you have about 7-15 years to live, I am CERTAIN that you will die by taking your meds, and CERTAIN you will not die if you dont.

This is the biggest pile of crap I have ever heard!

Why even ask the question if you aren't serious about it? Report It

Many people with HIV are living longer and healthier than they ever could before, due to improvements in medication. The medications do have side effects, though, and aren't a cure for HIV. They can, however, increase the amount of time between the diagnosis of HIV and diagnosis of full-blown AIDS. By definition, the person with AIDS has a more severely damaged immune system, so is not likely to live as long as someone diagnosed HIV+.
It is impossible to tell how long a person could live with HIV, With AIDS, With or Without Meds, because survival time would depend on so many factors, such as the person's health prior to infection, and the person's response to meds and the virus. Everyone may have a different response to the meds and the virus itself.

It depends on many factors!

Health before infection. Life style after infection. Environment. Stress. Support.

The latest studies are contradicting, but they show that median survival rate after diagnosis of AIDS in resource-limited settings where treatment is not available ranges between 6 and 19 months.

WITHOUT medication, MOST people will not live for more than 2 years with AIDS.

HIV+ is different, that can by over 10 years.

HIV+ does not equal AIDS.

I would say 10-14 years of infection without medication and 20-30 years with medication. I hear there are HIV+ people who rather not take the medications because of the horrible side effects. I think the important part throughout it all is them having to maintain a healthy diet to keep the immune system strong.

Full blown AIDS? Living for more than 1 year, I would call that lucky.

Dan is correct, i've read about the same research.
