Do You Guys Still Worry About Diseases Caused By Anal Sex?

See I'm a bi guy. When I see porn I always enjoy it. I want to have sex with a man but, then I keep reading about how dangerous this crap is.....diseases, HPV, HIV and crap. By doing this also takes away 20 yrs for you to live-_-. I hate all of this crap. I know I'm bi, but I prefer to have sex with a man instead of a woman. So gay bi guys, or lesbians...whoever wants to respond. Do you guys worry about all of this??

Yes I know even though you wear a condom you could still pass diseases....so normal sex can, still have the same high risk just like anal sex?

It really depends on if you see the doctor for check-ups and how selective you are with guys. If you go out and sleep with a different guy every week like some guys I know, then you have a pretty high chance of getting a disease. Obviously, you're not doing that, so you're good. :)
It does help if you want to start a relationship with the boy, though. Then, you have a better chance of saying away from a disease because you're having sex with the same guy. Make sure to use protection in all cases.
But remember, it's not just gays who get these diseases. Anyone can get them. The disease just looks for a warm body atmosphere that it can go and settle in. You can get it from a girl just as easily as you can get it from a boy. Just be careful and try not to worry yourself too much about it, or sex will be more of a frightening experience than a fun/romantic one.

Sex is dangerous, no matter WHO you are sleeping with. You should always cover up, especially if you have no intentions on being with a person for the rest of yor lives. As one of the others answered, you should regularly get tested, whether you're gay, straight, or bi. Just a quick not for Tara, I don't know where you get your information about gays, but if ignorance is bliss, you must be really happy. Being gay isn't contagious, but being ignorant is. when you sleep with ANYONE of ANY SEX you should be worried about diseases and infections. You are not only sleeping with that person, you are in essence sleeping with every person that person has slept with. you should assume that everyone has diseases and protect yourself!!! it has nothing to do with oriention or which sex you like, it has to do with the rampant STD and I's that are going around and how stupid most poeple are to NOT use protection when having intercourse!...protect yourself, always worry!!!

Just use protection, barebacking is extremely dangerous. Safe sex is so you don't have to worry about that stuff, it sure makes it easier to sleep at night.

BTW even with safe sex you should still get tested regularly.

If you take proper precautions you're fine. Heterosexual sex can also lead to HPV, HIV, syphillis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and more.

My partner and I have been together for almost 6 years now and we haven't used any protection for a very long time now. We are both very healthy and live life day to day the way we want to. I think that you should use protection every time you have sex since its not with the same person. I want to let you know that HIV and HPV was started by a straight man so to those of you out there that think its because of a gay men your stupid.
