How possible a couple,a lady living with hiv and a male with no hiv yet they having unprotected sex for 2yrs?

my wife got HIV but we living together for 4 years and having un protected sex all this time but i don't have it How?

In general, the risk of a man getting HIV from a woman during vaginal intercourse in the United States is low--probably less than 1 out of 1,000 exposures will result in actual infection. This risk may be higher if the woman is having her period.

Receiving anal sex by an infected person is a WHOLE other enchilada risk wise.

I want to add that I am very sorry to hear about this distressing situation for both you and your wife.

I would urge you both to join a support group not just for the moral support but because these networks get the latest info on new treatments, which doctors truly care and keep informed, etc.

HIV isn't the same death sentence it was 10 or even 5 years ago. But don't expect a non-specialized doctor to even know all the options available to you and your wife.

HIV is not a game of probabilities and possibilities. The risk of vaginal sex is around 1 to 1000 per exposure. The risk increases when you have more than one exposure. However, you can catch it the first time you have unprotected sex OR you can have 1000 unprotected sex and still dont catch it. These number are just to show you the risk. You cannot rely on these numbers to assess WHEN you are going to catch HIV.

Stop having unprotected sex and use condoms all the time.

There are some people who don't seem to contract it - this has happened before - I read about a gay couple same situation as you one of them found out they were HIV positive and the other was not infected even though they had unprotected sex for years - plus HIV is even easier to catch through anal sex - doctors are researching this as they believe that some people are immune to it.
Also there was a man from the UK who had HIV but it went on it's own accord - he is the first person ever to be cured of HIV

There are lots of answers to your statement. Your risk is lower as you are the insertive partner, if your wife is on medications her viral load could be very low, which lowers your risk as well. Do you have children? If so you might want to use condoms to be able to take care of them and your wife if she should get sicker.

I have been in a 12 year relationship with someone HIV+ and I am still negative and our condom use is minimal.

This is one of the many questions about HIV that even the leading scientists have many theories on but NO definite answers what so ever.

Some recent results have added even more conflicting evidence to this already complex pathology.

Basically; No-One knows why.

The included sources i've given below will give you a good idea of how conflicting the evidence for HIV-Immunity is.

are you saying you dont have SIGNS of HIV or you dont have it at all?
if you dont have it at all then you must be a very clean person cuz you can only catch the virus if it gets into your system, such as blood to blood or her *** gets into your penis and you do not clean it by ejaculating it out.
