How long can you live with hiv?

if you respond to the treatment you can have an almost normal life.-
and live more than 20 years.-

Length of life of someone who has HIV depends on many things, including their health prior to infection, their reaction to the virus, their reaction to the medications, and whether or not they take meds as prescribed. Many people who have HIV can live several years longer, healthier with treatments, and delay the progression of HIV to AIDS.

Once someone is diagnosed with AIDS, they may not live as long, because they can't fight off other infections, but again, length of life depends on the issues I mentioned above.
