How can I get my boyfriend hooked up with HIV services in Nevada?

My boyfriend and I are in a discordant relationship, where he is HIV+ and I am not. We both currently live in Washington D.C. where there are support services galore. We are going to be moving to Las Vegas in May of 2009. I want to make sure that he can get health insurance and his anti-HIV drugs. Here in Maryland/DC there are programmes set up for high risk people who are hard to get insurance for, and there are AIDS drugs companies that help to pay for his medications.

If anyone could direct us to some resources in the Las Vegas area that would be great, thank you.

Well if he has health insurance it is good everywhere.....but I think I know what you are saying. Contact the Ryan White Fund and find out where there local care center is for Las Vegas. Here is a contact for a place that may also be able to help him that I found online.

Good luck with the move ...All states have the Ryan White Act funding .....it just goes to different places....I hope this sorta helps

p.s. the Partnership for prescription medication ( Montel Williams Commercial) also has infor on how to get the meds paid for...that is who I use.
