Open wound and blood on a door handle? |
I cut myself driving home one night and didnt realize it. But I did notice blood ( or what I thought was blood) on the door handle to the apartment building I live in. The cut was on the hand that I used to open the door and now Im worried I could have caught HIV from it. Is that possible?? How long does it survive in the air?? Once HIV is outside the body, exposed to air, it dies within a few minutes. You can't be infected by dried blood. hiv dies when oxygen hits it. but you may want to see a doctor and remember it takes about 6 months to show up on the blood test i think u should see the doctor before its too late and dont squeeze the wound |
