Im scared I have AIDS?

ok so first I want to clear up that I'm 13 and never have had sex but a couple of days ago I got a sore on the outside of my vagina. It was red and sensitive to the touch and It hurt when i wiped. Then kind of about a day later it started going away and got like a pimple like form and it doesnt hurt anymore. I had my period when this happened.

Im afraid that I got HIV or something from using soap. dont know if this is possible but I'm really freaking out. I live with my mom, dad, and brother. And dont ask if my parents have AIDs cause i have no freaking clue but i dont think so... but you never know.

Could I have gotton a STD from using soap or what was it? was it just a sore? im really scared, please answer.

Don't worry! You can't catch AIDS from soap. Your sore was probably an ingrown hair or a clogged pore. Either way, don't worry about it. Sitting in a warm bath should help ease the pain and swelling if there is any. If it doesn't go away in a few days, go see your doc.

calm down, AIDS is a bit drastic...I can bet my bottom dollar that you don't have that and if your parents did you would know. They would be taking tons of medicine and so would you. You probably just had some pms symptoms on your vagina. Sometimes you can get boils/pimples on the outside of your vagina due to ingrown hair or just hormones. You dont have an STD and keep it that way...stay a virgin for a long time!!!

No you do not have AIDS. you are allergic to something else like your pads, tampons, under ware, soap. something like that is really the likely cause of the sore.

no you dont your probley starting to get hair down their or already have it its probley an in grown hair

no u dont
its just soap
it aint blood or anything
just a sore

You don't have AIDS so don't worry. I get sores on the outside of my vagina from time to time and it's just like getting a sore anywhere else. Your vagina is full of bacterias and since the area is hot there is a lot sweat even if you don't realize it (sorry gross but true.)

It was most likely just a pimple or a boil and since it is going away and doesn't hurt anymore that's a good sign. If you get another sore like that again you can always call your doctor and have him/her recommend something over the counter to put on it. You can also see a gynecologist and have her take a look at it and she may be able to prescribe some kind of ointment too. But don't worry, you don't have AIDS, just a little sore that all of us women get from time to time :)

The ONLY ways you can get HIV (virus that can lead to AIDS) are by having unprotected sex with someone who has HIV, by sharing needles for drug use with someone who is infected, by getting infected blood in an open cut, or it can be transmitted by a woman to her child during pregnancy, delivery, or breastfeeding. If none of those situations apply, you do NOT have HIV. You can only get HIV from someone who has HIV. You can not get it from saliva or casual contact.

STDs are Sexually Transmitted Diseases. You can not get them from soap or other objects.

Please talk to your doctor about your symptoms.
