How can America be saved from Credulous Thinking?

What was once a trailblazing, skeptical nation born of the Enlightenment's values now seems to be a nation of people who will believe in anything. From ever growing numbers who believe that the Earth is 6,000 yrs old, that Dinosaurs lived side by side with people, that global warming (whatever it's causes) is somehow a hoax, that psychics are legitimate, that HIV can be transmitted through tears, America seems to have evolved into a nation run by fools, where ignorance is a virtue and critical thinking some moral flaw. So the question I put to you is, what do you think can be done to save America from credulous thinking and sliding backwards into the 21st century?

The truth is, we may not be able to. Even if we presented the world with cold hard facts about the Earth's age (which we have) and the theory of evolution (which we have) they still won't believe us. Some people don't want to hear the truth, even if it's spitting in their faces.

We need to return to OUR CONSTITUTIONAL VALUES....Period.
Elect people who fully UNDERSTAND this.
