God made AIDS to get rid of gays?

There was this one guy who said, "So HIV and AIDS were nature鈥檚 way of trying to eliminate the homosexuals, it however raged out of control and is now affecting millions of heterosexual couples every month."

So apparently, God gave us AIDS to get rid of gay people. He must not like Asian people very much since he gave them SARS and the bird flu. He must not like the people that lived near the Indian Ocean in 2004 either. Oh, and can't forget England and the Mad Cow Disease. And Katrina, oh yeah, and the Holocaust.

Didn't AIDS first originate in monkeys? What really interests me is how it got from monkeys to humans.

Diseases are caused by germs. They have nothing to do with hate. My dad has a lung disease and arthritis. I have asthma. The list goes on and on.

It's amazing how they can rationalize something as horrible as AIDS, isn't it? I love your second paragraph... they'd laugh and deny it all, but it sounds right on to me.

And yes, god is full of hate and so are his followers. Why else do they need to court his favor in order to do right? Be a good person because it's the right thing to do, not because of rewards or punishments.

Because aids can be transmitted to males and females...
