Why don't some people understand that loose morals are the cause of the majority of their problems?

Unwed mothers deserted by the "guy" they thought was so cool. People sleeping around as if there were no consequences. Sexually transmitted diseases on the rise, even HPV that causes cancer. HIV that destroys health and kills. And broken marriages because people don't hold marriage sacred. The marriage vows mean NOTHING to some any more. Guys who lay with a woman they just met, women who will let them. "Couples who "move in together" to find out what it is like or to save money. They have the highest divorce rate, IF they ever get married. There seems to be no respect between the sexes any more. What are people thinking? They don't really believe that is the best way to live do they?

Are they just falling into the trap of thinking "everybody is doing it so it must be okay"?

church is not the only place morals come from. There have been cultures that never heard of Christianity before the 20th century but they had morals similar to Christian teachings. They believed in marriage, fidelity, it was wrong to kill, steal, lie. That is the morals I speak of.

so let me guess church is the answer to everyones problems?

You need to realize that this is the year 2006, close to 2007, we do not live in the dark ages anymore. People are different in this day and age and you need to come to our world. I am not sure what year you are stuck in but get over it this is a new time... I also want to know who hurt you so badly that you hold all this anger and resentment for the question you asked.

Most just dont care..praying for the godless generation is all that works support the good and fall in Love helps distracting.. how evil everything has become..

After being married for a lot of yrs, I actually thought it would be tough getting out again and meet people with morals and respect. You would be surprised, there are still one or two :*)

yeah, my philosiphy is save sex till marriage, and live according to the bible. One thing you have to come to accept is that people are complete morons, who only live for the now, and wonder what they did to deserve the harsh consequences that come later. That aspect gives you a whole new perspective. No, church doesn't solve all the problems, but accepting the lord jesus christ does!
