Hi My Name Is Dave, I live in Richmond, Virginia and my boyfriend and I of 2 years finally had "relations" last night. I myself being a virgin was quite fumbly and disorientated. He on the other hand seemed to know what he was doing. I have suspicious he has had sex before with other men even know we vowed to stay devoted to one another. I now have fears of having "Houses In Virginia" (HIV). What do I do? I don鈥檛 mean to be a 鈥楶anicky Pete鈥?but my boyfriend has been loosing wait a fair bit the past few months and we didn鈥檛 have protected sex. Please help any advice would be much appreciated.

Don't worry Dave....I had a similar situation with my second lover Ernie. After 2 years of great sex, he began to lose weight and turned sickly. We invented the story that he was moving to Florida, but actually he went to a Hospice house and passed away from Pneumonia. i would go get tested myself and then go from there. if your negative you should still talk to ur bf in case hes not. and if ur positive you should really talk to ur bf. but maybe hes been watching porn so he knows what to do? and has he been dieting? i dunno sweetie the best thing to do is go get tested though because for worst or for better youre gonna be so unhappy as long as ur not "sure"

Well for starters talk to you man. You have been together 2 years. Just tell him the he needs to be honest with you about where he has been. Regardless of that, whats is done is done and from now on protect yourself. Go to the doctor and get checked. And remember you should get checked 6 months from now too, because it could take that long to show up. Good luck and best wishes.

The weight loss probably has nothing to do with it. You can be chubby and HIV +. Weight loss doesn't kick in until quite far down the road with AIDS.

Advice: Trust NO ONE! Use condoms every time! This is just too big a risk to take. Don't risk it by doing it again with him and hoping for the best! In 6 weeks, you can get tested for HIV and insist that he do as well. If he's a stand-up guy, he'll agree that it's a good idea. Then, always use condoms and enjoy peace of mind.

Go get checked.It's possible that he may have HIV.
