How did Noah really handled him self at 600 y/o amongst all those animals?

I do understand that in a time in Earth history that living longer waz possible... but in this case shot recordz wasn't needed. For Noah to be that old, how iz it that he & hiz family handled these animals for so long at sea without contracting some kind of illnezz from them? Animalz are for what they are, but if that HIV story about monkeyz carring it iz true, then the insectz had to have bacteria floating around them? (oh , yez they were insectz on that ship. . .)

Thinking about these questions could send you mad, couldn't they?

And how would he count 14 brown spider mites or make sure there was a even mix of male and female? Now virus tend to hang out in their millions and still you can't see them and they dont even have gender. Very confusing. Let's both lie down or have a nice cup of tea.

God was with him. Without God, we can't succeed in anything. But with Him, there's nothing that is impossible!

Just have faith. Without it, there's nothing in the entire universe that can make sense.

You are asking a complicated question, and I would imagine you are of that special personality that will ask many of these :)

What interests me more is how you arrived at the question:

You assumed:

That Noah really was 600 years old, and this was normal...
(sigh......ok...)

That he really did put every kind of animal on the boat...
(There are between 5-50 million species on earth. Assuming each was the size of a mouse, he would not be able to pile them all in his boat, let alone with cages or in pairs, or with food.)

You are assuming that the HIV story about monkeys is true...
(it might be, but we're not really sure)

You are assuming that the animals were handled...
(like a petting zoo?)

You are correlating HIV with insects...
(I've never heard anything like this)

But if you overlook all that... I'll give you a simple answer. Diseases don't often transfer from one species to another. We are at risk with:

1. Species closely related to us. Ie., monkeys, apes.

2. Species we spent a lot of time with. Ie., rats (unfortunately), mosquitoes, chickens, cows. It is only in these cases where there is a reasonable probability of a virus mutating enough for transmission. As well, it generally helps if we eat these animals. For example, chickens or cows. Standing next to one won't do much.

Being around a bunch of unfamiliar animals for 60 days won't do much. Eating a buch of raw chicken, cow or monkey will. Being around all these animals for say, 1000 years, might do something.

The insects...it would not be that different from getting bitten by a mosquito at the zoo. Once again, most diseases are not transmissable. The ones that are, will be from the familiar or related animals anyway.

Most modern Bible commentaries question whether the stories in the early chapters of Genesis were actual, historical events.

I really believe that the animals Noah took were still very young !
They were on the arch for a long time. Most people think they were in the arch for only forty days but remember that it would have taken a very long time for the water to recede.I am sure that they some type of drainage system to wash out the waste from the animals.
Remember that God will not let you go thru something you can't handle.
