What are the 5 worst countries in the world?

Ok lets base this on human rights, economy, politics, individual purchasing power, environment, personal safety and living conditions.

1) Congo (aka Zaire)- this country is currently in Anarchy with no laws at all. On top of that it is disease infested with HIV, yellow fever, ebola you name it. Groups of armed militia control this country committing atrocities.

2) Central African Republic - like Congo this country also is politically unstable with militia groups present. Poverty and disease is high and it seems to be lawless like Congo too

3) Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea (North Korea). Mix the words totalitarian and communism - you have a recipe for poverty, unhappiness, corruption, failed economy, shortage of food.

4) Cuba - not much different to DPRK. Oppression and a corrupt economy keep the people in starvation and unhappiness

5) Venezuela - same as Cuba but with oil which the government controls though and generally takes all the money away from the people.

Russia are actually one of the better countries in the world. Nice cool conditions.. strong economy, stable government. Can't go wrong..

I agree but I would put Iran at the top of any list.

It is a country run by Islamic Extremist that want to kill as many Infidels as possible and the their god will come back and rule under Islam and all of them that strapped bombs to themselves and blew up bus loads of kids will get their 72 virgins.

They are a threat to human existence. You can not negotiate with that mentality.

Basically all sub-Saharan African countries and Haiti should be above Cuba... And how about Sudan??? Jeeze.

There are areas of India that are as impoverished as well, though the government there generally seems to take into account the welfare of its people and we can hope this will change.

1) USA
-wastes half the world's resources which is the main reason why a lot of third world countries lack basics such as food
-having other countries hold its debt to maintain artificial high standard of living
-acts as an uneeded world police
-starts war in the name of phony democracy/freedom
2) North Korea- as you have said-but you look at the media too much-its actually improving
3) Saudi Arabia-land where extreme sexism began
4) India-land of phony freedom/poverty/corruption/laziness which should be renamed Hindustan
5)Afghanistan-a war zone that lacks everything

Venezuela-gives more aid money in Latin America than the USA
