Ok. this is about scientist and america...please read if you care about this world....!!!?

why is that a lot..ok my bad a TON of people say they care about the needs of africa and how its so sad that kids in africa are dying do to lack of food and HIV/AIDS. if people thinks that is so sad then why don't they acctually try and do something!!! r u guys just to lazy to help!!im american my self and im 15 years old. i am living in rwanda, thats in africa and my dad is a C.D. (country directer) of rwanda and burundi. i hear about people saying that they care about the needs of africa but they just say that. they dont do anything to help! if they don't know where to start then just ask. who cares if people make fun of you!! GOD! and why the HELL are there scientists making seedless watermelons! are people just to lazy to spit the seeds out!!!the scientist who are making those are crackheads. in american our lives are pretty simple. we have WAY more than people in africa do. so why don't those scientist take time off from creating seedless fruit, and try helping with a cure or

or something that would ease the pain. or they should creat food that doesnt need that much water or sunlight! you want to know why so many foreign countries hate the states,they may say that they love the states but the fact if they hate it. america is a selfcentered country that only thinks about itself.if you don't believe me i GURANTEE that if you live in a an african country or a 3rd would country, u would know exactly were im coming from. but since you americans are so busy with stuff like omg...should i by this pair or shoes or this one? huh..mayb i'll buy both. you kno most people where i live don't even own 1 pair of shoes. that shows how selfish most americans are.

first of all you are as ignorant as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!! america sends millions of tons of food to africa, yet the warlords either keep it for themselves or keep it on the docks til it rots!! i think we should not send one more bag of food to africa.we should send farmers to teach those people how to irrigate the land and grow crops.. we should also send birth control,so the people will quit having so many children.. the only africans i feel sorry for are the children, but i feel america needs to take care of its own starving children and homeless first!!!! all that food rotting on the docks could be used in america where 75% of people live in poverty that rivals africas..

becuase we already help them enough , besides africa isn't our problem it is africa's problem not ours they should be like normal countries and be able to take care of themselves.

The Western world gives billions in aid - where does it all go? The trouble (it seems to me) is that in Africa there is too much corruption and too much violence. Most of the suffering we see is due to war and money-grabbing political leaders rather than straightforward natural problems which can be alleviated with money.

The sad truth is. The U.S. (and pretty much the whole Western world) has no interest in Africa. The only interest the U.S. has right now is in the Middle East.

People do help - millions and billions of $ have been raised and sent over, but it dissapears due to all the war and corruption, and people get tired of seeing their money wasted.

Scientists have done amazing things to help these people. When scientists developed easy to grow, vitamin enriched corn and rice, government and church's stepped in and block it from being distributed because they don't like "geneticaly modified" stuff, for selfish reasons.

At some point, these people need to help themselves. Their tribal differences that cause all their suffering are not something the outside world can fix.

There are millions of idiots who donate money to Africa. They should be hellping their own people first and let the africans ehlp themselves. Get the tribal and country leaders who steal all the donations out of there, learn something other than eating bugs and grubs, stop sucking the world's resources for nothing.

THIS is a simple one Sarah, because they dont care! i am south african. and i dont even think SA is doing enuff for their fellow countrymen. those people dying in the streets of rwanda and burundi are 'nobodys' to those in power. and at the end of it all its really down to money. instead of spending millions on a senseless war in iraq, why not pump more money into Africa? there is more questions than answers. people place no value into LIFE. if we valued life more then more would be done to feed starving babies. but why should those rich people in government worry about those starving babies, they are eating very well!!
