Do you think we-human-will survive our own technology?

The more our knowledge is improved,the more we feel empty.I remember a famous psychologist used to say the only problem of future people would be mental problem.we will take care of things like HIV or terrorism one day,but human's feelings & other values of living will be gone,it's started already.can't you feel it?
There are thousands of movies talking about this...I,robot...terminator...fifth element...contact...but they are just movies,science fiction...don't you think we should pay a real attention to this stuff?we worry about the future of fuel,but we just make movies about our own future!!!

Do you see any solutions if you agree with me that we won't survive?

,I don't think we will survive our own technology. But it was a really good question.

We would have to nurture compassion, and learn to work together world wide on the issues that plague the world. Wars, hunger, illness, hatred, intolerance,diversity, greed etc. We can't even settle those issues peacefully on Y Answers. How can we think we could ever do it globally. I think it's sad.

What kind of values do you think are gone?

If anything, those values were implanted into society by movies themselves.

Pull out your history books. And not just American-made ones that they candy-coated for high school students. You may be surprised how much 'values' the average American had back then.

I mean, at least now, we don't count different looking people as 3/5ths of a person.

I think we definitely should be worried about our own technology its a bad idea to give machines emotions and the ability to learn like us because they will learn that humans are a destructive species and may decide that we do not belong here.
