Muslims are a community of over one billion people in the world. There is wrong impression that USA or any other European country is at war with Muslims. They have their own political interest. Media is coining new terms as Islamist, Muslim terrorist, but they do not use terms Christian terrorist, Hindu terrorist Israeli terrorist. A criminal is criminal who so ever may be. There is sufficient material on media to prove that terrorism is byproduct of Afghan War and poor Muslims are worst sufferers. If you have capacity to read between lines, you may read official web site of Government of Israel to have some background history. Before 1948, there were 120000 Jews living side by side of their Muslim brothers, going to the same school, speaking same language and having friendship.
It is lack of information which is creating misunderstanding among people . We should always preach peace. We must promote morale values.

Did you see the video of that young girl stoned to death? She was dragged out naked from the waist down with a crowd of men shouting and SECURITY FORCES looking on. They started kicking her and threw big rocks at her. She struggled to get up, stunned, and felt the back of her head. The frenzy went on for some 30 minutes until they took a concrete block and bashed her in the head.

Yes, horrible things go on, but our police don't stand and watch because *they* believe she should die for loving someone outside of her faith.

I'm sure this kind of thing went on all the time in the 7th Century, but Western countries are always working to stop violence. The Middle East has never left the 7th Century.

R-i-g-h-t ...now that you've done your bit to demonize moslems, let's try to find some kind of objectivity.

You need to know that there will always be crimes just as there will always be poverty, injustices, barbarism and diseases. You will also need to know and appreciate that civilized countries (nothing to do with age of civilization) such as the US, Britain, West & North Europe, Canada, Australia, N Zealand are on the side of the Good & Decent to attempt to right some of the wrongs in the world. They attempts may seem 'brutal' at times but they have got things right. How do we know they are right? Just look around these societies and you know that there is law & order without resorting to torture, rape and cruelty - which bugs us all.

The fact that you posted your question/comment shows that you do care (quietly). And that my friend, reflects the collective consciousness of the civilized nations. Something found in very short supply in Arab, MidEast cultures and even in Asian and Latin civilizations too.
