Where do you draw the line in animal cruelty/ species eradication? |
OK, the dog fighting thing brought this to my interest...totally unacceptable from my point of view...but......we all are responsible for life and death everyday...either directly or indirectly. I try to avoid killing anything, but I still feel like a cheat, because I eat meat and I feel no remorse over all the mosquitos I murdered, or bacteria that invaded my body and I kileed with antibiotics. I know what you mean but I think that I just go with what is acceptable in a society in which I grew up. I am not ready to do more. The line should be drawn when an animal is forced through unnecessary pain and when a species has been domesticated and is taken advantage of. |
