*Home>>>Living with HIV

I have recently been diagnosed of having HIV and i want to know?

about some basic ways i can be able to live a bit longer. Any thoughts would be very welcoming.

try finding out the address to Magic Johnson...he's lived all this time with HIV, and he's doing pretty well in spirits...i believe that if you put it in your head that you have it, and think for the worse, that alone will make it worse..you can also look in the phone book or internet for a place in your area that has a support group for people with HIV...i'm very sorry that you've become a victim of this unfortunate illness, but keep your spirits high and be around alot of supportive people....eat right, keep yourself virus free, like colds and stuff...that will make your infection worse and can develop into full blown AIDS, work out often, and enjoy the rest of your life..making every day count :)....huggz

I'm sorry that you have this disease.
There are many drugs nowadays that help people with HIV to live longer.
Talk to your doctor.

There are a lot of people with HIV and AIDS who have lived and are living a considerably long life.
Just continue to stay healthy, excercise, eat right, protect yourself from getting the flu or colds and most importantly take all your meds everyday.
The internet is chalk full of usefull information, try Google and most important of all talk to your doctor and/or a counsillor.

God Bless.

There is so much medcine out there for it I know people who have lived for years and I mean years after they got diagnosed I am not going to tell you that I am sorry to hear that because in my opinion that would be like me telling you this is something you cant deal with. you can deal with it its not the end of everything talk to your doctor and please dont be ignorant dont have sex with someone if they dont know let them make that choice (a friend of mine got HIV from someone who knew they had it but didnt tell her) and use this to educate people that dont know anything about the people who think if you caugh on them they'll get it. Talk to your docotor about some medcine you can take. I will tell you this I wish you the best.....

i am sorry that you have the crazy disease put get a second opinion!! to be sure.
then if you need to talk just give me a holler!! and you can visit my 360 page anytime!!!
