Attention HIV counselors How can i become a test counselor?

I need exact info for people that live in California. Do I need to take a test? Or do I just apply. I teach a class on AIDS and I volunteer. Is this enough? And what is the salary, if any?

You should find out your local/state department of health websites. I used to live in NY and i only have a website of NYC but i am sure california has the same but may be different policy or procedures. Without asking directly to them by email or phone, you won't know the straight answer or chances to get a straight answer is low.
In Ny, There are several Free HIV/STDs testing clinics and you can starightly go there and ask information or call them. However, It's better to go there and ask because the conselors may be busy to answer your questions and they will only ask you to come up. I called them up once and they asked me to come up. I called there just for a question of HIV testing. Not the counselling question anyway. Good Luck

I was an HIV test counselour, and fortunately unlike you I have an open mind and discovered that the dissident literature and science is actually better done and more believable than the mainstream crap...

the tests are killing ppl and the ones here are not allowed in other countries...
