HIV sure has taken the back seat on awareness. Isn't it still a threat to high risk groups? |
Unprotected sex, IV drug users? We sure don't hear alot about this like we use too. Everyone is living much longer on the new meds that are available. I am fearful, out of sight out of mind when it comes to this disease. You may think that , but most who are at risk are well aware because now people put the information out there and it is more accessible for one to receive care , condoms etc.Throughout the year, health departments, community-based organizations, faith organizations, and other groups and individuals participate in annual national and global awareness days to address the HIV/AIDS pandemic. |
