Hello I'm a nurse. Unfortunately there is no cure for herpes. However you won't die from it. Every three months an outbreak will appear. It is a bad thing to live with in the sense that their is no known cure and it is a nuisance. The most important thing for you is to be open and honest with any partner or potential partner so they are forwarned. The good thing is that it will not kill you.
