HIV/AIDS in India. what type of HIV found in U.S., Europe and Africa ?

In india it is HIV-1 or HIV-1 and 2 together in most of the cases.

very rare HIV-2 comes in notice.

i am asking asking this because i have read people in westren countries live longer than devloping nations.

inspite of diet, ARV and other factors remain same.

The most common type is HIV-1 which is an adaptation of SIVcpz.

they take precautions
HIV is rare in U.S.

The subtype of HIV-1 most common in India is subtype C. In the USA and Europe, most infections are with HIV-1 subtype B. HIV-2 is found all over the world but very rarely, just one or two cases per country other than in western central Africa where there are a few thousand cases.
