Can some kind of cocunut oil get rid of HIV's? |
I heard that cocunut oil can get rid of HIV's. My moms friend said that this guy had HIV and had only three years to live and he spent those three years in a South American villiage and when he came back he didn't have HIV's anymore and it was proven by a bill of health. So I was just wondering if coconut oil could cure HIV. I wish it were that easy... HIV is a virus. We have yet to discover ANYTHING that cures us from a virus. HIV is especially difficult because it affects our body's T-cells, (part of our immune system). Doubtfully, the story you heard is hearsay, with three degrees of separation already (a Friend of a Friend story as they are called) and while there have been a few rare cases where HIV infected people have managed to be cured, it is most likely some internal immune response that cured them, which is why scientists are so interested in such cases, as they hope to find out what happened. no, there is no cure for HIV I'm sure cocunut oil can not cure HIV. Or HIV is no longer incurable disease. there is treatment for HIV/AIDS. but absolutly no cure...yet. |
