Isnt it sad that in the Islamic world HIV/AIDS has increased??

I am posting this here because it is always said that the west is immoral, charecterless, no values and a society that is broken down, i wonder what is happening in the land of Morals,

Check the report in the website and you will be amazed to know some facts, while in the US HIV increased by 20% and the middle east it is 300% Wow!!! That is HIV behind the veil!!! What have the muslims to say, living in denial is a crime to oneself.

http://www.thebody.com/content/world/art...

how ironic and only middle eastern muslims say the west is decadent and immoral the muslims living here dont say that

its sad that aids still exists

you must be american....

Really? Who cares? Why pick on one religion? AIDS does not discriminate. Stop trying to stir it up amongst the muslims and learn to live and let live!

No it is not sad, perhaps it is Allah punishing them.

Islam is against all immoral sexual activities , ranging from premartial sex to various others.

Your question is very irrelevant and shows your ignorace or less knowledge towards the true and fair picture.

The World has now became more global then ever. With many immigrants here and there and many people not following Islam "properly".

Also due to increased hyegine standards west have got a control over HIV Spread , such medical expertise is lacking currently in Eastern World - Again nothing linked with religion

Diesase has got nothing to do with Religion.

And as far as morality of western societies is concerned than one does need to see your website links or reports. Because its open to eyes and ears that who is moral and who is not.

Islamic nation and Muslim people are far more moral than the most you imagine.

Now I turn the table to you and invite you to do to US HIV Research website and see extremely high rates of HIV/AIDS in west compared to east.

Its not AIDS which needs to be cured but the diesase in your heart about which you should be worried.

Best of luck!

It is so sad that it is increasing everywhere not just t.he Islamic world.A deadly disease that kills and the world has to go to war and kill itself and not get together to help solve the biggest problem since the plagues of the dark ages in Europe.

What is sad is that, poorly informed people like you, try to use the blood of others to make racist and bigoted religious points. Any reading of the report you post will show that, even though there is a great increase in the prevelance of Aids victims in the Middle East, arab victims account for only 460,000 of THIRTY NINE MILLION cases world wide. Try to explain why the majority of deaths among women and children with aids have occured in those parts of the African sub-continent that have been Christianized!!
If you cannot assimilate 'statistics' and thier import.. you should refrain from trying to use them in such a silly way.

whether it be in islamist or in western nations the increasing numbers of HIV cases is quite surprising.it is time for us,the humans,to fight this problems
it is truely disappointing that the questioner is mis interpreting islam.
the holy quraan strictly opposes immoral ways of life.
islam always preaches only pure and moral sexual life.
moreoverit should be noticed that the advices of quran is not only for muslims but for the entire humans.
hence it is necessary for usto stop these discriminating policies and stay united for eliminating this disease.

Yes it is sad, it is sad anywhere it increases...

You don't understand statistics do you?

HIV/AIDS is a horrendous afliction that can get anyone in the world.

a 300% increase could be accounted for if 1 person was diagnosed with it 3 years ago and now 300 people have are diagnosed. I am not saying that is how it spread but just trying to give simple numbers for all to understand. The 20% increase in the USA is an annual increase (once a year), where as the 300% increase in the ARAB world as the article states is over 3 years... you should be aware that there are Arabs who are Muslim, Christian and other faiths as well. In fact the country with the largest Muslim populatin is Indonesia, which in case you don't know is not anywhere near Arabs and the middle east.

So for the ARAB world (since this is what the article was on- 22 countries 325 million in population spaning 2 continents), there are 460,000 cases, for the United states alone (1 country! population a lottle over 301 million) the site states there are 1.3 million suffering.

So lets compare...
a population of 325 million (22 countries) with 460,000
and
a population of 301 million (one country) with 1,300,000

The suffering sucks either way, but there is a big difference when comparing the one western country and all of the Arab world. Especially with all facts taken into consideration.

Egyphile has a very good point as well, considering the highest percentages of HIV/AIDS are subsaharan african which is Christian yet North Africa, which was included in the study you quote since they are Arab, have significantly less cases.

I would be interested in knowing which countries had the majority of the diagnosis, if I had to randomly guess I would say the UAE which has a HUGE population of Europeans and Indians who have immigrated and is also a tourist area for much of Europe.

Here is a link to the world aids map, interactivly you can resize it to the statical occurance of HIV/AIDS, can you find the Arab world on there?

Shocking isn't it? What a sad thing for the world to have to deal with.

Yes it is but not surprising.

But still nowhere near the developed world!!!

Worse still the spread in the undeveloped world is through simple lack of communication and knowledge whilst the spread in the Western world is through fornication and drug abuse!!!!

Bet you are Christian though - your bigotry and racism is shinning through!!!!!

Awareness is good, but Accusation isn't: John 5:45.

Isn't it odd, how both sides of any blame game
have this side effect: induction to hall of shame.

Scape-goats vs Dumb-sheep?

Left vs Right?

Law vs Law?

Them vs Them?

Loser vs Loser?

them all x2 in Luke 17?

Any kingdom divided against itself shall fall?

The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven?
A little leaven leaveneth the whole?

Seek ye first the kingdom of God (within you),
AND his righteousness (his grace and truth).

God our Saviour will have all men saved,
AND aware what from: thine own mouth.

Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I?

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Ill edit this because im first post, but you are really a discusting person.

I wouldint let u ************.
