In USA, People are living with HIV have the right to work in NGOs or private company?

Please help to answer this question, you can help many pepole in the world.

It depend on. I think these people should have the right to work in NGOs or private company. But the fact is not so. Only few private company employ the people who are living with HIV. I meet many friends on a site called positivesingles.com. Many of them say they have the experience of being refused by the private comoanys. They say this is a kind of discrimination. I totally agree with them.

some people dont even know that they have aids yet...but the greatest trouble anyone will have is fear........it opens a door to work....I never worry about things like that...i speak positive like i dont get sick...im healthy aand strong my bones are strong get the point???? even if i hurt my back or something i just dont talk or complain about it much....Florence Nightengale worked around the sick and she had faith to do it and she never got sick......It's all a state of mind

It depends on the state.

If they are working for an 'At-Will' state, they can be fired. At-will is a legal term that means an employer can fire an employee for any reason. An example of being fired for reasons like this occurred in an At-Will state a couple years ago (I think it was Minnesota) where an employer was able to fire employees that smoked cigarettes even when they did NOT smoke at work.
